194. Atlantis: the Lost Empire
This is another one of the Disney movies that I haven’t seen since it was first released. It’s a bit lacking as far as character development and interesting plot goes, but it is full of spectacle. I think I’d have enjoyed it much more when I was a kid, but I wasn’t a big fan of Atlantis' sense of humor.
I’d say you can watch it without wasting your time, but Atlantis: the Lost Empire is definitely not a must-see for anybody.

193. The Prince of Egypt
I still think this is my favorite movie by Dreamworks Animation. The songs are great, and the animation is simply stunning. The story is great, but it does follow the source material fairly closely. (I don’t think anybody watched this for the story though) Ugh, Dreamworks has made some shitty animated movies, but when they’re good they’re really good.
The Prince of Egypt is a film that everybody should watch at least once.

192. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
I remember watching this when it first came out and thinking it was another romantic comedy with just enough quirks to keep it from being bad. After watching it again after half a decade, I still feel the same way about it. It’s not bad by any standards, just a tiny bit predictable and some jokes were unnecessarily low brow.
If you like Seth Rogen, at least give it a try.

191. Brave
I watched this in theaters when it was out just over a year ago, and to be honest I kinda dismissed it as another kids movie by Pixar. It did make a bit sad to see that Pixar seemingly lost that magic touch. However, seeing it again has changed my opinions on this little film. I still do think it’s one of Pixar’s weaker films, but I like it a lot more than I did after the first viewing.
I won’t spoil anything for you, but this movie is beautifully animated and tells a touching story of a mother and her daughter. I suggest you watch it at least once if you haven’t already.

190. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Wow, I hadn’t seen this movie in over 10 years. I remember not liking it very much as a child, but I was recently told that I should watch it again by a friend. And boy am I glad that I did. This movie is way more fucking intense than I remember it being, and it wasn’t half bad. Sure, the music isn’t as catchy as some other Disney movies and the ending still feels out of place to me, but whatever. I’m glad I can say that I saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame and I can remember it.

189. In Bruges
I liked the movie, but I don’t think I should’ve watched it. I’d have appreciated it a lot more if I wasn’t in such a bad spot emotionally lately. This movie left me feeling… empty, but in a good way… it’s hard to describe.
It’s a good movie, I’d recommend it.

174 movies + 13 I’ve already listed on this blog makes 187 movies this year so far. Well, 188, since I’ve seen Pacific Rim but I’ll make a separate post about that later.

13. Pulp Fiction
Arguably writer/director Quentin Tarantino’s best movie, Pulp Fiction is just an iconic piece of American cinema history. I watched it again today because I learned that some hallmates of mine has never seen it before. I’m glad they saw it and they enjoyed it. Pulp Fiction, like other Tarantino films, is not for everybody, but if you can stand Tarantino’s brand of humor and violence then you owe it to yourself to watch Pulp Fiction.

12. Planet Hulk
Planet Hulk is definitely not as good as either Batman: Under the Red Hood or Batman: Year One. Not only because I like Batman much more than the Hulk but also because the characters in this movie are rather one note (except one or two exceptions) and the story is just mediocre. I never really cared about the problem that drives the plot and neither does Hulk.
